Record-A-Hit Entertainment is a full service party rental equipment provider and specialized in entertaining young people at college and corporate events. Record-A-Hit was established by Robert Broms when Karaoke was becoming popular in the mid-80’s. RAH was frequently hired to do Karaoke and record each performance, hence the name Record-A-Hit. What originated as a small Karaoke company on the North Side of Chicago soon grew to include moonwalks and others unique attractions. RAH’s reputation grew as a fair, fun and dependable company that did events for communities as well as individuals, park district, and corporations. Although Record-A-Hit still performs its Karaoke attraction, the company offerings have expanded by leaps and bounds. RAH offices and warehouse, now in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, are bursting at the seams with the huge selection of new attractions unthinkable in 1986 including digital Air Graffiti, an Iceless Skating Rink and Bubble Soccer.

Rob Broms is the Owner and President of Record-A-Hit. He started the company in 1986 as a Karaoke entertainment company and, by keeping his finger on the pulse of the event entertainment industry, has helped Record-A-Hit grow from a one attraction company to a company which has over 100 items in many different categories. A firm believer in networking, Rob has taken an active role in many Chicago organizations over the years including IAPD/IPRA, MPI, NACE, and has most recently been integral in the start-up of Chicagoland Event Professionals. A hands-on professional, Rob participates in every stage of RAH event production and knows what attractions are appropriate for different types of events, age groups, etc. Rob can be seen on Facebook and is a Linked In member.

Nancy Wolf is our resident accountant and financial record keeper and cruncher. Although she has only been with Record-A-Hit barely over a year, she has learned to recognize all the crew and attractions that travel through our warehouse. Nancy and her husband love to travel in their free time, going skiing, biking or visiting friends and family. They do make sure to spend plenty of time with their two grown kids and their wonderful new granddaugher in Shaumburg. Call Nancy with any questions about your invoice or balance due.
