Six Things That Event Planners Should Know About Amusement Rides

Are you worried about picking an awesome event attraction that will make your guests go “WOW”?

Why not book an amusement ride for your next party, event or festival?

An amusement ride might seem to be complex especially if you have never rented one before, but we are here to help you and here’s a few insights and tips for you.

Insight #1: Make sure you have enough space to have your amusement ride at your event.

Amusement rides need more space than a regular game or inflatable. If you have questions about the needed space, please call us at 847-690-110 so our event professionals can assist you.

Mechanical Bull and Mechanical Shark actually require less room compared to Bumper Cars.

Insight 2: Electricity needed to operate an amusement ride is more than a single indoor/outdoor outlet can provide.

If you don’t have access to industrial power then we can provide one of our gas generators. Amusement rides require varying amounts of electricity and number of circuits. The best bet is to talk directly to our event professionals about the electricity required for an amusement ride.

Insight 3: All our amusement rides require a signed waivers.

For anyone that is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian can sign one for them.

If your guests are over the age of 18, they can sign yourself. They only need to sign once in order to ride it.

Some clients give out wristbands once their guests sign it to make it easier for the attendants to know who signed the waiver.

Unfortunately, if a guest refuses to sign the waiver, we cannot allow them to use the attraction.

Insight 4: All of our amusement rides require a flat surface.

Insight 5: In the event of any bad weather, the amusement ride will be shut down.

Under no circumstances, will we operate it under rainy conditions because electricity and water are a bad mix and we don’t want your guests to get electrocuted.

Once it is safe to resume, we will do so.

Insight 6: In the occurrence that the ride has to be shut down, please listen to our Record-A-Hit professional staff member instructions and wait patiently.
